God’s Holy Word
2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and
It leads us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.
All believers are encouraged to study the Scriptures and diligently apply them to their lives and they are not to be added to or taken away from.
We believe that there is but one God who was and is and always will be. He is Infinite and eternal, almighty and perfect in holiness, truth and love. God is manifested in three persons; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. They are co-existent, co-equal and co-eternal. One God, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God the Father
God is the Just and gracious Creator of all things. We were created by Him and for Him and we are to live lives to glorify Him. He is father to those who become His children through faith in His Son.
Jesus is the one and only Son of God the Father, sent to a sinful world to make atonement for mankind because of this sin. He was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, therefore making Him the perfect sacrifice and took the full wrath of God on the Cross to purchase the salvation of all those who have faith in Him. He rose from the grave on the third day and defeated death for all believers. He alone is able to reconcile us to God through His death, burial and resurrection.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the entity of God that is here with us now. The Holy Spirit calls us unto repentance, washes us clean and guides us into sanctification. Upon receiving faith in Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit takes up residence inside of us.
Mankind was created by God in His image. By choice all men sin against God and therefore separated from God and condemned to eternal death and are in need of salvation from this death.
Because of the sinfulness of all mankind we are sentenced to eternal death but by God’s grace He offers a substitutionary atonement for sinful man through the perfect sacrificial death of the One and Only perfect Son of God. It is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that mankind obtains salvation and it cannot be obtained by works. (Ephesians 2:8) Salvation is only gained by submission to the rule of Christ in your life and fully trusting and following Him.
Baptism & the Lord's Supper
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
There is but one Church, the bride of Christ. It is however made up of many members and local bodies. As a local body, we believe the purpose and mission of The Church is to carry out the Great commission given by Christ Jesus by sharing the Gospel of Jesus and to make disciples. We believe the local body of believers are to be a light to their community and to the rest of the world that shines and illuminates the Cross of Jesus to a dying world.
